His Will
Behold, I stand at the
door, and knock: if any
man hear my voice, and
open the door, I will come
in to him, and will sup
with him, and he with me.

Rev. 3:20
For-a-matter of Fact: About Faith

                             Faith; What is Faith?

These may not be in the exact order that a standard dictionary will list them;
Believe, trust.
Loyalty.
Belief and trust in and loyalty to God.
A firm belief in something for which there is no proof.
Complete trust
Something that is believed especially with strong conviction without doubt or question.
There may be others; I will work with these. I will expand the above list, each in turn with my thoughts.

Believe, trust: Let us simply say that, you and your employer share this one.
For a simple example of faith. You believe you can do the job, your employer trusts that you will. Your
employer believes that you will show up for work, you trust he will pay you.

That's Faith!

Loyalty: I have never had one doubt in my parents loyalty to each other. Nor their total love and dedication  to
their children. Jesus Christ will never turn His back on His children, His love is eternal. He will always await and
believe in the good within us.

That's Faith!

Belief and trust in and loyalty to God. Ah, well!

That's Faith!

A firm belief in something for which there is no proof. I added this out of "good faith" fairness, because it  was in the dictionary I use. I
personally don't think it fits in here, because of the "no proof".

That's Faith!

With a look back at my list, I think I will do #6 then #5. The latter will involve my longer thoughts.

Something that is believed especially with strong conviction: Without doubt or question.

Hebrews 10:15 Whereof the Ho'ly Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
Hebrews 10:16 THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAITH THE LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAWS
INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND IN THEIR MINDS WILL I WRITE THEM;
Hebrews 10:17 AND THEIR SINS AND INIQUITIES WILL I REMEMBER NO MORE.
I do "without doubt or question" believe that.

That's Faith!

Complete trust: my dictionary's simple and short descriptive example of faith, is well said. However; I have some examples of "complete
trust", to offer, that will also show faith at work among us.

Take for example, the drivers in the Nascar races. Or any race of machines. We all know it takes years of practice and experience, to
become a Nascar driver. When you factor in a large number of cars, speeding along at upwards of 200 mph just inches apart. There is a lot
of faith on and around that track. From driver to driver, it takes faith that each will keep his car in perfect control. From Driver to God.
Family's to God, fans, pit crews faith in their driver, the driver's faith in their pit crews...... And on........ And on.

That's Faith!

Consider jet fighter pilots at air shows, wing tip to wing tip. Sometimes mere feet off the ground. They put their faith one unto the other.
Plus there is much faith in the Lord God at an air show. Do you think Test Pilots are likely to leave the ground, and leave faith in God, the
designers, and the builders behind?

That's Faith At Work!

How about the sky diver? Could you jump out of an airplane without complete trust in the parachute packers? Do you have enough faith in
the Lord our God, to jump out of an airplane? Do you believe He will protect you? See below for an example of this type of faith, happy
landing.

With ease there are many, many more examples of "What is Faith". And, "Faith at Work." I keep my faith in my
Lord Jesus Christ, that He will guide me with this website. That He will guide me in everything that I write, I ask
"in all faith", that I do no harm with words.

That's Faith

I would like to offer one more example of faith in action. This one is something that is more obscure than racing or flying. But this is
repeated millions of times each day in our homes. This, most every adult, as well as teens have seen, Think about it. You can see her in
your minds eye. Especially you that are parents. With a sparkle in her eyes that is beyond compare. Standing upright with assistance, her
little tongue almost sticking out but curled back on the tip. The mouth is half open and the lips are forming the start of a smile.
Words of encouragement can be heard all around, the soft hum of the cam corder goes unnoticed. She lifts one foot, then with a slight
giggle she steps out as she is released. Then there is another step, and another, followed by one more. She is then gathered into the arms
she seeks, the arms that promised to catch her. The arms She had placed her "faith" into. The arms and love, that her "faith" had told her
was waiting for her to step into.

That's Pure Faith!!!

Do you have that kind of faith? Jesus is reaching out to you, Jesus will catch you too. He is reaching out to accept you as his child, with
everlasting love and his promise of eternal salvation. It only takes that first step.
Just step out as a cleansed child, reach and a hand of support will be along side you. To lead you, to walk with you. To kneel along with you
right where you are. Just open your heart to Jesus and he will come to you.

                               It only takes faith.
