His Word
From my journal on 10 Dec. 2004; taken from a birthday tribute to my Dad: "Obey God's Laws
First, Then Man's Laws." Something our parents taught us and what we passed on to our
own. Then our Government decided to raise our children their way. At that point parents
began to loose more, and more rights over the control of the children. The appalling results is
obvious through out our country. He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him
betimes Proverbs 13:24

The Maps of Life

The books of the Bible are a series of maps of life. When we are going somewhere that
we have never been, we need a map to find our way there. That "map" can be of a
printed graph style, or a "viewed" image as described by someone to us. (My dad was
terrible at that, he always stuck so many "in other words, you can" in his directions, we
forgot where to start from). Or simply words of direction printed on paper.

The books of the Bible are a series of maps of life. When we are going somewhere that
we have never been, we need a map to find our way there. That "map" can be of a
printed graph style, or a "viewed" image as described by someone to us. (My dad was
terrible at that, he always stuck so many "in other words, you can" in his directions, we
forgot where to start from). Or simply words of direction printed on paper.
Another ADD
We can ADD another ADD, to the ever growing list of ADD's. Before they quit, there will be an ADD for an ADD. When I was growing up,
the cure for ADD was a board or belt to the rear-hind-end. (A board at school, a belt at home.) Over a period of time, -longer for some
than others. The cases and causes of the ADD was cured for most of us, with no life long trauma. Nor one's personality wrecked for life.
This ADD I'm writing of, has been causing mankind problems, since the beginning of mankind. Although, I doubt that it has never been
addressed before now, as an ADD problem. It is a disorder that found it's beginning in the garden of Eden.
Lucifer's Attention Deficient Disorder or Satan's own Attention Deficient Disorder.
Take your pick.
We first learn of this ADD in the 3rd chapter of Genesis.
The serpent's deception and man's shameful fall
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman,
Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the
fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat
of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know
that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Gen 3:1-5

Right from the very start, Satan was there using his tricks, to interfere with man's attention and obedience to God's word.
Satan has a never ending arsenal of tools and tricks, to try and keep our attention away from our Lord's love, guidance and
word. Satan's best and most useful tool is one that God gave to man. God, in His permissive will, gave us the ability to choose
our path in life. He allows us the choice to accept His word and love, or to be led away by an Attention Deficient Disorder
controlled by Satan. Rest assured that Satan will miss no chance or trick, to use the freedom our loving God gave us. Shout
and yell for your freedoms.
But, never forget your very first freedom given to you by God. The freedom to read, understand, and obey his word. There by
the freedom to control your destiny for all eternity. We are all God's children, He has given us our freedoms to do as we may.
Those who obey His word, keeps Him within. Thus will be rewarded with His eternal Heaven. Those who do not, will face His
punishment of death and banishment into a fiery Hell for all eternity. God will punish His children, that misuse His freedoms
and disobey his word. Just as we too were punished by our parents as their children, when we misused freedoms and
disobeyed. If we were given crayons and coloring book. We was to only color in the coloring book. Any misuse of that
freedom by coloring on the wall brought immediate punishment.
The cure for the Devil's ADD, is belief in God, obedience in His word and a total comment to His son Jesus Christ. There is no
need of mind altering drugs. God gave His son the power to beat Satan. Satan's power of Attention Deficient Disorder is
stopped cold by Christ.
Matthew Chapter 4
Christ fasts, then is tempted
1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and
forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command
that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every
word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil
taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God,
cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up,
lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy
God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and
the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith
Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11
Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

There are many examples in the Bible where Jesus Christ stopped the Devil and his works. In Mark 5; all it took for Jesus to
cast out the demons, was that the man believed in Jesus and had faith in Jesus. Our loving Lord and Father wants us to
accept His son, Jesus Christ as our eternal savior. To accept the salvation within His word. But! Enter Satan with his ability to
cause his ADD in many of us. Considering the world we live in today,
Satan's Attention Deficient Disorder isn't at all hard to ply. It's getting close to impossible to protect our \children from being
victims of Satan's ADD. WE adults are being bombarded from all angles daily with temptations. Only as one in Christ are we
protected. With our mainstream media today, Satan has all the help needed to disrupt an ever growing number of us from
God's word. For that matter the media is acting as an Apostle of the Devil, in a continuous effort to disrupt our teachings to
our children. It is obvious to me, that younger and younger groups of our children are being singled out, with the obvious
intent being to disrupt our righteous teaching to them.
By example: A recent television commercial for a popular "chewing gum" being broadcast on a national regularly scheduled
prime time family channel, is not fit to broadcast to adults. Teens, preteens and adolescents should be out of the question.
Pure filth is being used in an attempt to sell chewing gum. Couples, young and OLD attacking each other in a sex crazed
frenzy because of chewing gum? Are we talking Satin's Attention Deficient Disorder here? An obvious attempt to dissuade
Gods children's attention from Him?
The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?
Under the REIN of Satan's Attention Deficient Disorder, is becoming the UNUNITED States of America. Our States don't seem
to be very united anymore. We can't agree on public policy. We have mass movements of our populous from one state to
another, because some states are allowing blatant disobedience of God's word.
Ever hear of a place called Sodom and Gomorrah ?

Using our knowledge, that we have never been through life before. We can understand, that, we need maps to show, tell,
or demonstrate to us how to get through life. For most of us our earliest map is our parents. Our parents show, tell, and
demonstrate to us the way. Unfortunately some parents are not skilled in the art of this mapping. The best maps to follow
as we mature, and begin to venture more and more from our parents teachings, is the HOLY BIBLE.
The books of the Bible are a series of maps of life. Each one was written with the intent of telling us how to get through
life, following the directions of our most HOLY FATHER - GOD - JESUS CHRIST - LORD, all are one. Each author, of
each book, understood that the true map of life. The only map to follow to find true life, lasting life, eternal life, is the map
our LORD gave to the Cartographer's of His map. His word, His way, His love, all in the map of life. The Holy Bible.
Sometimes we need to get our directions from a different source. Although we may have already been given -or read- the
directions to where we want to go, perhaps the first time we just didn't understand them. In that case, we reread them. Or,
we get the directions from a different source and they make perfect sense to us. Just pick the "map" or maps that you
understand best. Be it in a written form, and/or by being shown the way by someone. God doesn't care how many you
follow to Him. God cares how many you lead to Him.
